Day 1 AIRPORT – BUKIT LAWANG
Arrive in the Kuala Namu International Airport. We will fetch you from the airport & proceed to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang, the orang utans rehabilitation centre. The journey leads you past the scenic rubber & palm oil plantations. In the afternoon you will arrive in Bohorok. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages or Rindu Alam Hotel, both are located directly on the bank of Bohorok river.

Day 2 BUKIT LAWANG - BRASTAGI
After breakfast, we will walk for around 45 minutes at the side of Bohorok river to the orang utans feeding area. Prior to arrival at rehabilitation centre you have to cross the river by small wooden canoe. Thereafter do a short climbing through the tropical rainforest at the slope of Mt.Leuser until you find the feeding area. It is suggested to have comfortable sportive shoes. At the feeding area you can watch the park ranger feeds the orangutans. The rest of the day you have free program until time for us to depart to Brastagi via Medan. Brastagi is mountain resort in the Karo Highland that surroundings with two active volcanoes, Sibayak & Sinabung. Before we arrive in hotel, you can also make a stop at fruits market. Overnight stay in hotel Grand Mutiara or hotel Sinabung or similar in Brastagi.

Day 3 BRASTAGI – LAKE TOBA - SAMOSIR ISLAND
In the morning you will visit Dokan, a traditional Batak Karonese village. Here you can observe traditional houses of the tribe & daily activities of the villagers. Thereafter we depart to Lake Toba. En route we can stops at the Sipiso-piso waterfall with its splendid view over the lake Toba & resorted Royal Palace of King Purba at Pematang Purba. You can also make couple stops at local farms such as pineapple, ginger & coffee plantations that belong to the local farmers. In the afternoon you will arrive in Parapat at the lake Toba, from where you embark the ferry to cross the lake to Samosir island. Overnight stay in hotel Toledo Inn or hotel Silintong, both are located on the lake side.

Day 4 SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR
Today we will make excursion to several Batak Toba villages on this island. First we will visit Simanindo village where you can see a performance of traditional Batak Toba dances, then to Ambarita village where you can hear the interesting legend of megalithic cultural objects.
From Ambarita you can enjoy scenic view over Lake Toba from Sigarantung view while drink a cup of hot coffee/tea (OPTIONAL).  After that we go to Tomok to visit the noble cemetery of King Sidabutar in Tomok.  During the excursion you will have a chance to walk & see the way of life of the local Batak Toba tribe. Overnight stay in hotel Toledo Inn or hotel Silintong. Your room has beautiful view to the lake Toba.

Day 5 SAMOSIR ISLAND - AIRPORT
Samosir Island - airport via Pematang Siantar. Today we will transfer your back to the airport. You will drive through endless plantations of rubber, palm oil & cacao. Upon arrival proceed to the airport for your flight to next destination. Ends of your tour with us.

Individual Tour
The above tour program is an individual tour. You will travel individually with your own driver and guide. There is no body else in your transportation. You have your own privacy and decide your own time.
