Day 1
Arrive in the airport with flight ...at...We will fetch you from the airport and proceed to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang, the orangutans rehabilitation centre. The journey leads you past the scenic rubber and palm oil plantations. In the afternoon you will arrive in Bohorok. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages or Rindu Alam Hotel, both are located directly on the bank of Bohorok river.

Day 2
Bohorok - Brastagi. After breakfast, we will walk for around 45 minutes at the side of Bohorok river to the orangutans feeding area. Prior to arrival at rehabilitation centre you have to cross the river by small wooden canoe. Then do a short climbing through the tropical rainforest at the slope of Mt. Leuser. Watching the park ranger feeds the orangutans. It is suggested to have comfortable sportive shoes. At noon we depart to Brastagi via Medan. Brastagi is a mountain resort in the Karo Highland that surroundings with 2 active volcanoes, Sibayak and Sinabung. Before we arrive in hotel, you can also make a stop at fruits market. Overnight stay in hotel Grand Mutiara or Brastagi Cottages in Brastagi.

Day 3
Brastagi - Samosir island. In the morning you will visit Dokan, a traditional batak Karonese village. Here you can observe traditional houses of the tribe & daily activities of the villagers. After that depart to Lake Toba. En route we can stops at the Sipiso-piso waterfall with its splendid view over the lake Toba & resorted Royal Palace of King Purba at Pematang Purba. You can also make couple stops at local farms such as pineapple, ginger & coffee plantations that belong to the local farmers. In the afternoon you will arrive in Parapat at the lake Toba, from where you embark the ferry to cross the lake to Samosir island. Overnight stay in hotel Toledo Inn or Samosir Cottages, both are located on the lake side.

Day 4
Samosir - Tour on this island. After breakfast we will make excursion to several Batak Toba villages on this island. First we will visit Simanindo village where you can see a performance of traditional Batak Toba dances, then to Ambarita village where you can hear the interesting legend of megalithic cultural objects.
From Ambarita you can enjoy scenic view over Lake Toba from Sigarantung view while drink a cup of hot coffee/tea (OPTIONAL).  After that we go to Tomok to visit the noble cemetery of King Sidabutar in Tomok.  During the excursion you will have a chance to walk & see the way of life of the local Batak Toba tribe. Overnight stay in hotel Toledo Inn or hotel Silintong. Your room has beautiful view to the lake Toba.

Day 5
Samosir island - Medan via Pematang Siantar. Today we will transfer your back to Medan. You will drive through endless plantations of rubber, palm oil and cacao. Upon arrival in Medan you can do city tour in Medan. You can visit the beautiful mix architectures of Maimoon palace built in 1888 by the Sultan of Deli (former name of Medan) Sultan Mahmood Al Rashid. Then a visit to Grand Mosque "Mesjid Raya" built in 1906 where you can see its interesting ornaments, to Chinese and Hindu temples. As one of the most important cities during Dutch colonial time, you can see also colonial architectural touch in building likes: the Post office, the old City Hall, Central bank, etc. Overnight stay in hotel Madani or similar, located in the centre of Medan for overnight stay. Here you can rest after long journey.

Day 6
Medan - Yogyakarta via Jakarta. After breakfast we transfer you to the airport for your  flight to Yogyakarta. Arrive in Yogyakarta.We will fetch you from the airport and transfer to Eclipse hotel or Galery Pawirotaman hotel or similar for overnight stay. In the afternoon you can make an excursion to Borobudur temple, one of the great wonders of the world. This temple built in the 8th century and has the most complete ensemble of Buddhist relics in the world. It is standing about 40 meters above the ground with 10 terraces, each smaller then the one below rising to the Great Stupa of Buddha on the top. From Borobudur, we will also visit the nearby smaller temples, Mendut with its huge Buddha statue and Pawon temple. After that we return to Yogyakarta. 

Day 7
Yogyakarta - City tour in the centre of Javanese culture and tradition. First we visit: Keraton (the Sultan palace) built in 1755. Nearby Birds market and Water Castle. Thereafter to batik workshop to see the intricate processing of the Batik cloths, Kota Gede famous for fine Javanese silver works. In the evening you can enjoy dinner & Ramayana Ballet (optional). The best performance of Ramayana Ballet is in Prambanan Amphitheatre (open air). Overnight stay in Eclipse hotel or Galery Pawirotaman hotel or similar.

Day 8
Yogyakarta - Prambanan temple - Solo - Malang. After breakfast depart to Solo with stop en route at Prambanan temple, the most beautiful Hindu temple in Java. In Solo you will visit the Mangkunegara Prince Palace and Triwindu flea market. Thereafter we continue the trip to a small hill town of Malang in East Java province. Overnight stay in hotel Kartika Graha or similar in Malang.

Day 9
Malang - Sukapura. In the morning you can do city tour in Malang. Here you can visit the colonial buildings and make a stop for coffee break and snack at the famous Toko Oen (optional). At noon depart to Sukapura at the foot of mount. Bromo. Overnight stay in hotel Lava View in Sukapura.

Day 10
Bromo - Ijen Plateau.  Getting up before dawn for the famous Bromo excursion to see the beautiful sunrise views over mount Bromo and its surroundings. You can climb the mount Bromo by foot or horse riding (can be hired but on your own account). It is suggested to wear a jacket as the temperature can be very low on the top of the volcano. After enjoying the beauty of mount Bromo, return to hotel for breakfast. Then we drive further to the east to Ijen Plateau where we will arrive in the afternoon. Overnight stay in a simple accommodation named Arabica Homestay.

Day 11
Ijen Plateau - Sanur. In the morning you can do a half day hike to the spectacular Ijen Crater (optional). The sulfuric lake of Ijen reflects eerie colors over the surrounding walls to give an apocalypse like impression. Here you can watch how local people seeking the sulfur descend into the crater and climb back up along the dangerous rim with loads of sulfur on their shoulders. At noon we depart to Ketapang harbor from where we embark the ferry to cross the Java strait to Bali. Arrive in Gilimanuk harbor we proceed to Sanur for overnight stay in Puri Sading Hotel or Mentari Sanur Hotel or similar. Type of room: Run of the house.

Day 12
Sanur – Labuhan Bajo - Rinca island. In the morning we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Labuhan Bajo with .... Upon arrival at Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores you will be welcomed  by our local representative and transferred to Labuan Bajo harbour. Here boarding to cross to less famous Rinca island. Lunch on board. After 1 ?  hour sailing we reach Loh Buaya. Led by a local ranger 2 hour soft trekking through forest and savanna. Komodo Dragons are often spotted on the way. This largest living lizard  on earth lives on 3 islands Rinca, Padar & Komodo and some parts of West  Flores. Its length can go up to 3 meters with weight of up to 90 kilo. From the highest point on this hike a beautiful panorama of the surrounding island. Dinner and overnight* on Board

Day 13
Komodo Island & Pink Beach - Labuan Bajo (B,L).Early breakfast on board and departure for Komodo island. This trip over blue tropical waters and past hundreds of small island will take approximately 3 hours until Pink Beach . Here lunch and time to discover  the splendid underwater world of these rich waters (snorkels and fins are  provided). On to visit Komodo island and make a walk (1 hour) with a local  ranger in search of the Komodo dragons. During your visit also wild   buffalo, deer, pigs and various species of tropical birds like the Cockatoo can be seen. Return to Labuan Bajo will take around 4 hours. Upon  arrival at the harbour transfer to Hotel EcoLodge* in Labuan Bajo for  overnight.

Day 14
Half day Day Tour (B).  Breakfast at hotel, today drive to Melo to see the performance of the Whip Dance (Tari Caci) which is famous for the Manggarai people of West Flores.  On return to Labuan Bajo a stop at the local market and visit the Mirror Cave with its stalactites. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at   EcoLodge.

Day 15
Labuan Bajo – Ubud, Bali. Today we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Bali. Arrive in Bali at ...We will fetch you from the airport and proceed to the artists village of Ubud. Overnight stay in De Munut Cottages or similar in Ubud. Type of room: Standard. The rest of the day free at your own program in this beautiful village.

Day 16
Ubud - excursions. The excursions will start in the afternoon by visiting 3 different locations. Firstly you will visit the temple at Taman Ayun (beautiful garden) at Mengwi. This temple is surrounded by a moat, was built in 1634 for the Royal family. The next stop is the Monkey forest at Kedaton, where over 500 monkeys of varying sizes inhabit the forest along with numerous fruit bats. Finally to Tanah Lot Temple, which is built on an outcrop of rock just off the coastline and can only be reached by wading across at low tide. When the tide is high, waves thunder around the island and at sunset, the spray and sun weave fantastic rainbows. Thereafter we return to Ubud. Overnight stay in De Munut Cottages or similar in Ubud. Type of room: Standard.

Day 17
Ubud - free program. In the morning free at your own program. You can walk through Monkey forest street where a lot of fine galleries are available. Overnight stay in De Munut Cottages or similar in Ubud. Type of room: Standard.

Day 18
Ubud - Candidasa. After breakfast we drive to Batubulan to see the Barong and Kris Dance. Further visit the handicraft villages of woodcarvers and silver and goldsmiths. Then to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) that dates back to the 11th century. At Penelokan-Kintamani you can enjoy the spectacular panorama of mount and lake Batur. Thereafter we drive to the south to visit Besakih temple, the mother temple of Bali and Klunkung  Kertha Gosa (hall of justice). Upon arrival in Candidasa, proceed to Rama Candidasa hotel or silimar for overnight stay. Type of room: run of the house.

Day 19
Candidasa - free at your own program. No transport is available. Overnight stay in Rama  Candidasa hotel or similar. Type of room: run of the house.

Day 20
Candidasa - free at your own program. No transport is available. Overnight stay in Rama  Candidasa hotel or similar. Type of room: run of the house.

Day 21
Candidasa - airport. Today we transfer you back to the airport of Denpasar to catch your flight to next destination. End of your tour with us.
